At our last potluck we had a great juicing demonstration by Sheryl Napier. You can read about her story “In the Spotlight” section of our website. Juicing is a great way to get a lot of nutrients in, especially if you are not able to eat this much all at once you can juice it instead. Here are some of her great tasting combinations.

Sunny Citrus Beet

3 Small beets
2 grapefruit
2 lemons
6 carrots
turmeric-optional.

Mean Green

2 medium apples
4 stalks celery
1 large cuke
1 thumb ginger
6 kale leaves

Carrot/apple Juice
2 carrots
2 apples
ginger to taste
