This is a really easy recipe and it tastes great on yogurt parfaits or as a cereal.
Ingredients:
4 cups whole oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup nuts of your choice, chopped
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 tsp salt
In a glass measuring cup add:
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 c honey
1 Tbl oil
2 tsp vanilla
Directions: Microwave the wet ingredients for 1 minute and pour over the bowl of oats and mix until coated. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Stir and bake for another 15 minutes. Turn off oven and leave in for 15 minutes, stir and leave for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Can add cranberries or raisons after the mixture has cooled. Place in sealed container.
