Yes if you can afford it.  No if you can’t.  The most important thing is to eat plants and lots of them.   Go to your farmer’s market to shop for fruits and vegetables on sale. Try to buy local so the produce doesn’t have to travel so far to get to you.  This also makes it more nutritious for you because it is going to be more fresh and you will be supporting your local economy. If you can afford to buy fruits and vegetables without having them being sprayed with pesticides then do it but if you can’t then at least still buy fruits and vegetables and wash them well.  Look at our resource page for the top 12 dirty foods for pesticides and the clean 15 foods.
